Lýsuskarð, a hike across Snæfellsnes peninsula

Hiking with a guide through valleys and ravines from the northern side of Snæfells to the southern one. From Grundarfoss waterfall to Lýsulaugar mineral algae baths. An ideal all-inclusive day tour. After the walk, the group goes to the famous Lýsulaugar mineral algae baths and relaxes in the mineral-ri ch geothermical water.   • The hike it self is 13 km long and takes 7 hours with stops. 
  • The elevation is 604 m. This is a difficult hike. 
  • This route is not recommended for people with any health issues that can affect endurance.
  • Guests must bring with them clothes for mounteneering. The weather in Iceland can change quickly so you will need to have with you clothes for cold wind and rain. 
  • Hiking boots are essential.
